At Queerly Beloved, we believe that the messages we put on our products are just one part of a greater commitment to justice, equality and dignity for all people. This commitment informs not just what we put on our shirts but the very practices by which we run our business.
The materials for our shirts are produced primarily in the USA, and the shirts themselves are manufactured in America, Honduras, the Dominican Republic and China. We only work with manufacturers who have been certified by the Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production (WRAP), an independent non-profit promoting safe, lawful, humane and ethical manufacturing around the world. You can learn more about WRAP at wrapapparel.org.
We utilize a local t-shirt printer in Birmingham, Alabama to print our shirts, because we value investment in local businesses and also care about reducing the environmental impact of shipping our items from a manufacturer to our distribution center.
We are committed to ethical and environmentally friendly business practices, and thus we continuously evaluate and re-evaluate the companies we work with to ensure they meet those standards. As we aim to be transparent in our business practices, we also are always open to feedback on how we can improve in these areas.
